The Defender is pretty much finished, so in collaboration with Åre taktälterna, we did a photo shoot utilizing the rig properly.

Not finished yet, but hugely improved we did a little photo shoot in the sun. Painted and all. It’ll need to be put together now. Seats arrived and it’ll look great.

Another set of parts cleaned, prepped and painted

WT Metall trailers are a very common high budget choice, when you have dogs. They are great. Insulated, sturdy, ventilation and some good ideas. However, there are flaws and a single axle is rather bouncy. Plus… too tiny tires. So I had to do something about it 😉

Well… not having a heated garage and only gravel ground creates a lot of challenges… before painting the entire car I wanted to get the doors done. Out of interest and just as a reward for myself. BUT. No heating meant putting them into the boiler room of the house. Means, a lot of carrying. […]

So… I just love that car and it was a long journey… new floor, frame reinforced, half cage, accessories, repainted…

The old grill was for the AC cooling and completely broken. To safe money and do something more unique i made one out of 1mm sheet metal. Took a bit too long, honestly. But I think it was worth it anyway 😉

Temperatures are dropping soon, so I took the opportunity to paint a few parts without needing additional heat. Cleaning, sanding, priming and Novol Cobra Bedliner as top coat, both out as a fine coat and later structured.

Oh, boy… a 2000 model 130 td5 that needs a whole lot of love. Living it’s live as a work truck it’s running great, had the essential maintenance, but never gotten washed, ever, i believe… So a couple things had to be welded up. It’s still a work in progress…
